In 1981, our church was born when thirteen people decided to travel from Colorado Springs to Miami in obedience to God’s plan of reaching the people of this community through music inspired by the love of Christ.  They began to gather in a small warehouse office, and those thirteen quickly multiplied into a small church.  At the time, the high-energy salsa praise music led by Pastors Richie Ray and Bobby Cruz provided an irresistible environment in which to present the Gospel to lost souls.

The church eventually outgrew two more temporary locations before finally acquiring its own property in 1991 on Flagler Street in Miami.  During the fourteen years at the Flagler location, we saw thousands of lives come to Christ and be baptized.  In 1999 Bobby Cruz, Jr. became Senior Pastor, and a new generation of leadership emerged to carry the church’s vision forward well into the 21st century.

After more than a decade of ministry at the Flagler Street location, the leadership of our church decided that in order to better accomplish our mission of making disciples, well into the twenty-first century, we needed to make a strategic move.  In August of 2005, we moved out of our Flagler Street property and began a new and exciting stage in our journey. We began to meet at the Intercontinental Hotel West Miami in Doral with the hopes of soon acquiring a more permanent location. Our ministry thrived as a portable church for many years, and finally, in 2018 our church was blessed with the opportunity to purchase over 25,000 square feet of warehouse space in the heart of Doral.

We are currently meeting at our new location, CDA The Warehouse in Doral.  Doral is a young, growing city, and God has placed us in this new community of individuals and families who are thirsty for authentic and lasting relationships.

After more than 40 years, our church continues to be an irresistible environment where people can connect with God.  Hundreds of thousands of lives have been transformed by God through our ministry.  By God’s goodness and grace, we expect to reach even more people over the next 40 years and beyond.
