God places in your hands a great responsibility, a life mission of sharing His Good News. So, how are you doing with building authentic, caring relationships with non-believers that will open their hearts to the gospel message?
As you enter the last week of the 21-Day Prayer & Fasting Experience, take a moment and think of the people in your life. How are they influencing you? And, more importantly, how are you influencing them?
Praying for others is a privilege and an honor. As you pray for the needs of Christian brothers and sisters, also make time to intercede for those in your life who need Christ. The invitation to help people in our lives experience the grace and mercy of God also comes with the responsibility to lead them in a growing relationship. What a privilege! What an honor!
How often are you diverted by the seductive lure of your mobile phone alerts interrupting moments of your day? Perhaps it may not be your phone, but the next episode your favorite tv show, or fun with family and friends that easily calls for your attention. It’s quite interesting how our attention is disrupted during our moment with God and times of serving Him. So, how do you keep from being distracted?
In Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, the question is asked: What is in the name? Juliet implies that names of things or people do not affect what they are. That isn’t true about Jesus Christ. So, what’s in His name that empowers you to ask for anything?
